Delta Dental of Alaska, your AlaskaCare dental network, is unique in that it contracts with more than 300 licensed dentists across Alaska. But that’s just the start. As the nation’s largest dental network, Delta Dental of Alaska connects you with more than 204,000 office locations nationwide. So, no matter where you live or travel in the U.S. or abroad, you’ll have access to local qualified dental providers for ongoing care and unexpected emergencies.

• In-network vs. out-of-network: Delta Dental of Alaska contracts with network Delta Dental dentists to ensure you receive high quality dental care at a lower price. For example, AlaskaCare members receiving non-preventive services from a network provider avoid overbilling. This means you will not pay more for a procedure than our negotiated rate.
• Benefits of using network providers: Choosing a network provider for your AlaskaCare dental services allows you to get the most out of your dental plans. With Delta Dental of Alaska, you’ll pay less for dental procedures performed by a provider in our network than if you see a dentist out-of-network.
• How to find an in-network provider:

  1. Step 1:

     Click the Find Care box at the top right of this page

  2. Step 2:

     Search as a guest (until you become a member)

  3. Step 3:

     Pick the Dental option

  4. Step 4:

     Select your region

  5. Step 5:

     Enter your search criteria to find the right provider for you. Make sure you choose the Delta Dental Premier network under the network options.
